Hi and hello to all the people out there who read this....today was by far the chilliest we've seen.. the flowers are loving it and I have to admit that I, too, am really enjoying the 'snuggly' weather.  The Magnolias are starting their annual show, with beautiful branches available in store.  The Sweet Peas are also becoming available, these little flower 'butterflies' would have to be one of my absolute eternal favouritesCan hardly wait for the Spring blossom which should be appearing really soon. The other flowers of note in store are orange Cordifolia or 'Pincushion' flowers, stunning Snapdragons (a childhood favourite!) and the last of the Garden Roses--beautifully full and fragrant, they rival the majestic loveliness of the Columbian beauties which are tall, and full headed.  What the garden roses lack in stature, however, is more than amply repaid by their unbelievable fragrance!

The sun has finally come out this afternoon....and it is most welcome!                                                      I had a look at a very beautiful property yesterday....out near Wardell.  It is modelled on a French chateau and is gorgeous.  I am looking forward very much to working there on a wedding which is coming up in October.
I cannot believe that the year has sped by so fast, and it is nearly a whole year since my darling Amelia Jane was born.....I am so looking forward to seeing her in a few weeks.
A big Hello from Grandmama, sweet heart.  xxxx
Back to the blog, and now to sign off...will be back soonly with more news of the flowers.  Enjoy the weekend!
